In the MCP, public entities can purchase goods and/or services with uniform technical characteristics and for common use at market prices, in a transparent, efficient and secure manner. Likewise, companies, regardless of their size, can become vendors to the State, and sell their products and services. The MCP is a market that is handled under the grounds of abbreviated selection by product exchange, provided for in Law 1150 of 2007 and Decree 1082 of 2015

It is a blind market in which buyers and sellers act through the Brokerage Companies, which, together with the Mercantile Exchange, are supervised by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia.

Specialized

Addresses the purchasing needs of State Entities, complying with the principles of state contracting, such as: transparency, economy and objective selection.

Efficient
Efficient

They can obtain economic efficiencies represented in lower prices or as much quantity as possible, as well as lower administrative costs, maintaining the quality of the product or service; as a result of a dynamic bid that generates objective price formation.

Agility
Agility

The Entities can buy in an agile and timely manner in approximately 22 business days, from the structuring of the business, to the award of the corresponding operation

Ongoing advisory support

State Entities have ongoing advisory support from the Brokerage Companies and constant support from the BMC from the structuring of the business to the completion of the operation.

The Colombian Mercantile Exchange has a Compensation and Settlement System that promotes the efficient payment of the operation in accordance with the fulfillment of the delivery, in quality and time of the goods or services acquired.

The Colombian Mercantile Exchange has an Arbitration Committee mechanism for the resolution of controversies that are generated on the occasion of the operations carried out under its purview.

The Colombian Mercantile Exchange offers a wide range of products and services to be traded; as well as a system of liquid guarantees.

The fees published here correspond exclusively to the Colombian Mercantile Exchange. Keep in mind that you must be represented by one of our 10 Brokerage Companies, which generate an additional commission that you must take into account for the total costs of the operation.

The Colombian Mercantile Exchange has a Compensation and Settlement System that promotes the efficient payment of the operation in accordance with the fulfillment of the obligations acquired as a seller, and an Arbitration Committee for the management of conflicts.
