Sell your agricultural, agro-industrial, or fishing product in advance
Through Forward operations you can carry out a non-standardized contract for the advance sale of products from the agricultural, agro-industrial, and fishing sectors with a delivery period greater than 30 calendar days, with previously agreed terms and conditions.
The producers will be able to obtain a percentage as an advance payment of the operation of up to 80% of the negotiated value. The advance payment will be covered in case of contingencies by a guarantee from the Agricultural Guarantee Fund – FAG administered by FINAGRO.
It applies to any agricultural, fish farming, beekeeping, poultry, forestry, aquaculture, animal husbandry, and fishing activity.
It guarantees the marketing and financing of production.
Ensures working capital for the installation and maintenance of the production process.
It facilitates access to liquidity with the opportunity to obtain the resources from the sale of the product before its harvest or production.
Negotiations of the 879 agricultural, agro-industrial, and fishing products registered in the Colombian Mercantile Exchange can be carried out.
The value of the advance will be agreed between the parties and may be up to 80% of the value of the Forward contract.
This type of operation is part of the Contract Agriculture Program – LEC.
